East
and Central Africa giant taught Zebres football lesson before
lifting Primus national league trophy (2007).

Kabange Twite sealed APR
FC victory with a stunning 88th-minute winner against Zebres on
Tuesday
The Kabange Twite played a neat one-two with Lomami André
before shaking Zebres's net in 3rd minute of first half.
1 minute later APR FC got its second goal scored by Kabange Twite.
Zebres's custodian never believed what he saw and was substituted
immediately.
It seemed that good weather of Byumba was contributing factor
for visitors victory.
APR were a lively attacking force but the muscular Zebres defence
largely kept them at bay. The visitors were quick on the break
but not as swift as the home team’s backline.
APR showered Zebres with sporadic bullets of goals, 4 goals in
first half and 4 goals in second half.
A couple of minutes afterwards Kabongo’s clipped cross set
up the Abbas for one of his trademark volleys. This time he miscued.
Shortly afterwards Kabange Twite sent an inviting ball across
goal but Lomami Andr'e could not convert.
APR FC has taken a trophy for keeps after winning Primus nationa
league three times consecutively (2005 , 2006 & 2007).
